The Copa España Libre, won by Levante FC in 1937, took pride of place in the Salón de Cristal of Valencia City Hall between Tuesday 26 September and 3 October 2017. The visits took place in a majestic setting.
This exhibition was born with a commemorative purpose on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the conquest of this trophy. The Copa España Libre was displayed in the VIP Box of the Granota’s stadium during the months of July and August. During the first league matches, it was displayed in different areas around the ground floor of the Ciutat de València.
The Councillor for Culture, Gloria Tello, was in charge of the inauguration, which was also attended by the President of Levante UD, Quico Catalán, the Councillor for Finance and member of the Board of Directors of the club, Ramón Vilar, the club’s Honorary President, Francisco Fenollosa, the Councillor, Víctor Martínez, as well as the 1st Deputy Mayor, Sandra Gómez and the Councillor, Félix Crespo, among others.
