We recover an interview granted by Carlos Caszely in Chile on the occasion of the documentary that the Levante Communication Department produced to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the construction of the current Ciutat de València. This interview was made in the summer of 2019. In the present time we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of its landing and debut in official competition with the Levante UD shirt. Caszley committed himself to the squad presided over by Manuel Grau Torralba in August 1973. On 30 September, he came on at the Nou Estadi to face a league match against Sabadell (1-0) in the Silver Division. Caszely was part of the Levante squad during the 1973-1974 and 1974-1975 seasons. In the summer of 1974 he joined up with Chile for the 1974 World Cup in Germany. He was the first Levante player to play in the World Cup as a Levante player. Caszely’s voice recalls his time in the society of the Orriols neighbourhood. His memories flow through his memory to return to the Levante of the first half of the seventies.
